Very polite and personable. My husband and I were impressed with their professional knowledge. We added a couple of minor requests and they were carried out to our satisfaction, such as leaving us a pile of chippings for mulch. That kind of on-the-spot responsibility is useful. The only criticism I have is that too many low branches were removed from our pin oak. One tree that we wanted removed was too dangerous to be climbed and Robert brought the bucket truck down to complete the work safely. He had to use our neighbor's driveway and did so with great care for their trees. Bartlett Tree Experts came highly recommended from several friends. We were not disappointed. We needed some pruning work done because we expected to have to have a new roof. And the company brought our work date forward to satisfy our need. In consultation with the arborist, we expanded the scope of work. The men cleaned up the debris even though it was dark by the time they finished. I'd like to give you some feedback on the young men who were here to take down the maple. I think their names were Shawn and Chris. "Super" and "professional" are the best words I can think of to describe them. I'll begin with personal appearance. There have been lots of "tree surgeons" here over the years. These two were "Tide clean." You'd be surprised at how some workers appear. Next, they introduced themselves and explained how they were going about the task of removing the tree. Immediately, they began work. They complemented each other beautifully, seeming to know what each would be doing next. There was an occasional warning about a limb that would be dropped. Cleanup occurred throughout the process, meaning that the yard always looked as if the job were finished. When the elderly next door neighbor came out to talk with them, they handled her request smoothly. They were gracious when I asked for the mulch and said that I only had to show them where to place the chips. I wasn't here when they finished the job, but everything looks great.
