The crew worked efficiently, there was no standing around, when the climber needed men on the ground, the pruning fellows came over, did what was needed, and went back to their work. The pruning was excellent, considering the poor condition of the fruit trees. At several trees, the climbers could use neither spurs nor ladders, and hoisted themselves up, and did the work safely. At no time was there any concern about the safety of their work habits. They have a very good instinct for pruning and there is no looking and head-scratching and it got done quickly. They are extremely pleasant young men with no bravado or showing off. I hope Bartlett appreciate what you have got.
