Trent came out initially to see the tree. I needed to get a city permit as it was a protected tree. Once I had the permit I booked the crew. Luke and John came out to do the trim. They were both courteous and professional. They asked once they were close to completion if there were any branches I would like further cut. I pointed a few small ones and they finished up. The site was cleaned well and you would not know they had been there that day. I am very pleased with the outcome, and know I have a safe old tree that will not have any issues come this winter. Very happy with all aspects of my encounter with Bartlett Tree Services. Arborist was knowledgeable and friendly. Crew who came out were skilled and went straight to getting the job done. The November 15th rain and wind storm caused a tree to fall on our home and deck. We were impressed with the speed with which your staff attended to our fallen Sequoia tree after the December 21 snow/ice storm in Saanich. The tree had fallen on our carport roof and the staff had efficiently and expediently removed the tree. Trent, the arborist, came at the time promised and carefully explained what the job would entail. He submitted the estimate when he said he would. He is friendly and returns follow-up calls quickly to make the whole process comfortable for the customer. Trent is an excellent representative for Bartlett. The crew came on time, explained the process of removing the trees. They were very efficient, quick, and careful. All the crew members were friendly and empathetic. The site cleanup was thorough with hardly any trace that trees had come down.

Well Trent, you must have sent your best crew to do the work here, they were fantastic. They operated as a unit, all doing their own job but then joining the others in doing their jobs. The crew worked efficiently, there was no standing around, when the climber needed men on the ground, the pruning fellows came over, did what was needed, and went back to their work. The pruning was excellent, considering the poor condition of the fruit trees. At several trees, the climbers could use neither spurs nor ladders, and hoisted themselves up, and did the work safely. At no time was there any concern about the safety of their work habits. They have a very good instinct for pruning and there is no looking and head-scratching and it got done quickly. They are extremely pleasant young men with no bravado or showing off. I hope Bartlett appreciate what you have got.

The two gentlemen who came to do the work were exactly that, gentlemen. A big thank you to Trent who dealt with the pruning of my Japanese Maple immediately. I have had carpenter ants, and the tree needed to be pruned away from my house. He maintained the shape but now there are no leaves or limbs touching my house. I am very happy with the results. A couple of days later, the crew arrived and pruned the remainder of trees that I had specified. Fast, efficient, and friendly service all around, including the gals in the office who were not only supportive of my needs, but were very efficient and friendly.
