More about Matt Mitchell

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from UBC Vancouver and then moved back home to Ontario to begin his career. He joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2013 as a Plant Health Care Specialist and advanced to Arborist Representative in the Toronto office. Matt then moved to the Barrie area to start a family. He continued in arboriculture with positions as a pest control manager for a large tree nursery and as a consulting arborist. In 2024, Matt rejoined Bartlett Tree Experts to open the company's location serving Barrie and surrounding areas.

Matt is an ISA Certified Arborist and is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. He enjoys helping clients make informed decisions to maintain the health of their trees and shrubs and achieve their goals for their properties.

In his free time, Matt enjoys nothing better than spending time outdoors with his young family, their dog and their chickens.
