More About Lyle Feilmeier
Lyle J. Feilmeier is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)-Board Certified Master Arborist MW-0173B, the industry’s highest certification, a Pacific Northwest (PNW) ISA Chapter–Certified Tree Risk Assessor and a Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) with over 24 plus years experience in all facets of Arboriculture.
Currently, Lyle is an Arborist Representative, for Collier Arbor Care/A Division of Bartlett Tree Experts in Clackamas, Oregon. He has been employed by the company since 1995. Lyle is an expert in tree and shrub pruning and climbing, diagnosing tree insect and disease problems, Tree Risk Assessments, Tree Health Assessments, Tree Inventories, and Preservation Plans to assist residential, commercial, local city, and government departments with tree consulting needs.
Lyle currently holds a Director position for the ISA Certification Board and the PNW-ISA Chapter Board and ISA Certification Board and Liaison Committee. He was involved in the development and a past board member of the CTSP Committee.
Lyle is involved with many local training programs within the Portland/Vancouver metro and beyond. He trains, teaches and lectures volunteers, students, and the public on proper pruning techniques, disease and insect identification, and tree selection, etc. This includes speaking at several ISA-sponsored training talks, local Master Gardener’s annual programs in several Oregon and Washington state counties, Hardy Plant Society, local retail nurseries, garden clubs and the outreach Neighborwoods Programs in Vancouver, WA.
Lyle has a strong devotion to the arboricultural industry, by building on professionalism, safety, ethics, continued education certifications, and training. He is up to the challenges that await him.
