Our landscape experience with John Shockley, Arborist with Bartlett Tree Experts, was excellent in several ways. He was very knowledgeable as expected, but he was also a good listener with an astute understanding of what needed to happen, and when. John was given a request to clean dead wood from an old, but very cherished Maple, and check the health of all trees. I also threw him a curveball with a request for his climber to install a large hanging art-piece, if possible. It was possible. On the day, Ryan Sheehan went to work pruning dead wood with a keen eye. If you have ever watched good climbers, you know how graceful and easy they make it look while working 2-3 stories up. Thanks to his assistant, Cam, for keeping things tidy and safe. Both men were of good cheer and extremely pleasant fellows to have around for the day. Turns out Ryan has a secret skill as a knot-maker, Eagle Scout, which was very useful for the art install, the result is as envisioned, and it was fun collaborating. Thanks to all, but a special call out to Ryan for a lovely pruning job and a very cool art install.
