A native of East Tennessee, John has always had an interest in the diverse plant and animal life of this region. Following that interest, he earned a Bachelor of Science in agriculture from Tennessee Tech University in 2005. John has extensive professional experience that ranges from helping large scale growers increase crop yields, to managing residential pest populations and providing service recommendations for the proper care of trees in residential and commercial landscapes. John joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2023.
John is an ISA Certified Arborist, he’s Tree Risk Assessment Qualified, and is a Tennessee Certified Pesticide Applicator. His passion is educating clients to formulate long-term plans to maximize the health and beauty of their landscape. As an Arborist Representative, John is backed by the diagnostic resources of the Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories.
John is an active member of the Rotary Club of Knoxville, the city's oldest and largest service club. In his free time, John enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his wife and four children. He and his wife share a love of nature and hope to instill the same values in their children.
