We have a large old Oak tree in our yard. Five years ago, the leaves browned and curled and began to drop in August or September. We had several arborists and tree services take a look at the tree at that time. There were a number of conflicting ideas as to what was wrong. One arborist said he would send a sample somewhere for $200.00 to see if they could diagnose the problem. We ended up doing nothing. The following spring the tree came back to life as always and looked good, other than the dead wood in the huge tree.This August 2023 the leaves curled and browned and began to drop again. We were referred to Bartlett and set up an appointment. Sean Fenton came out and spent quite a bit of time examining the Oak and the other trees in the yard. He took samples of the Oak and had them diagnosed in their lab at no charge and no obligation. Sean followed up and explained everything very thoroughly. Long story short we hired Bartlett and they did work on the Maple and Oak as well as pruning the four trees in my yard. The pruning of the large Oak was extensive, and the arborist did a great job. When they left, you would never had known they were there, the clean-up was thorough. All in all, a very professional organization.
