On October 19, 2013, Hooksett employees Joe Davis (Arborist Rep.), Rich Herfurth (Div. 1 Safety & Training Coordinator) and crew members Dan Stouch, Daron Moser, and Morgan Roy donated their time, skills, and equipment at the annual New Hampshire Arborists Association Fall Workday. This year the event took place at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. They spent the day performing structural pruning/weight reduction and clearance so that all the American flags are much more visible. They also performed root collar excavations to several trees and educated cemetery staff on the benefits of this procedure.
