A comprehensive process to guide clients

At Bartlett, we have developed a comprehensive process to guide clients from the needs assessment all the way through conducting follow-up visits.

This comprehensive process allows Bartlett to provide the highest level of client satisfaction, and through constant communication with the client, allows for adjustments when needed.

Not all management plans are the same because every client and property is unique. However, to collect the information needed to create any management plan, a tree inventory is typically done. We determine which information to collect during the needs assessment process. Only information that will assist a client with reaching their goals should be collected.

Tree and shrub care plans

When a better understanding of your trees and shrubs, a planned approach for maintenance, and the ability to budget for future needs is the goal, a tree and shrub care plan is a great option. These provide a multi-year or phased plan that prioritizes immediate needs and intermediate and future recommendations. The plans also include recommendations on specific soil or plant health care when observed issues affect tree condition or growth.

Tree management plans

When a more complete understanding of your trees is needed, a detailed tree management plan can be created. These plans will summarize all the information collected including species, condition, location, size, maturity, observed pests/diseases, observations, and prioritized management recommendations. Tree management plans describe maintenance needs over the next three to five years. In addition, tree risk assessment information, environmental benefit information (e.g., carbon storage and sequestration), planting opportunities, and other aspects may be included.

There are a lot of aspects to consider with a tree management plan, including utilizing management software to track progress and work that still needs to be completed.
