Taylor has been involved in the tree care industry since accepting an internship with Bartlett Tree Experts in 2005. He discovered a passion for Bartlett’s scientific tree care approach and returned to Virginia Tech to pursue a degree in Urban Forestry and Arboriculture. Upon graduating in 2008, Taylor joined Bartlett Tree Experts in the Northern Virginia/Washington, DC area. As he advanced within the company Taylor held positions including Arborist Climber, Crew Leader and Local Office Safety Coordinator prior to becoming an Arborist Representative. In 2018 he transferred to Seattle, having fallen in love with the diverse and immense treescapes of the Pacific Northwest and wanting to live closer to family.

An ISA Board Certified Master Arborist since 2014, Taylor enjoys using his knowledge and experience to help homeowners and property managers recognize the full potential of their trees.

In his free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, and getting out into the mountains for hiking, biking, and skiing.

Taylor came out to take a look at our Hazelnut tree.
