Steve Hawkesworth grew up in Connecticut, where he developed an early interest in nature while working on a local apple farm. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for the green industry. Over the years, Steve has worked for both large and small tree care companies, managing urban forests and landscapes of all sizes. He brings a broad industry perspective and deep practical experience to his role. Steve joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2025, drawn to the Company's science-based approach to tree care.

As a Certified Arborist, Steve is dedicated to helping clients preserve the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of their trees and landscapes. Backed by the diagnostic support of Bartlett's Research Laboratories, Steve provides clients with informed, sustainable solutions for long-term tree and shrub care. He is driven by Bartlett's culture of safety, scientific tree care, and deep client relationships.

In his free time, Steve enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with his wife, their three boys, and the family dog.
