Sean Crooks

After graduating from Emory University with a degree in environmental science, Sean sought out experiences that served both nature and community. With Georgia State Parks, he completed four seasons of wildland firefighting, responded to hurricanes, managed invasive species, and restored native habitats. Sean started specializing in trees when he moved to California in 2021 and became an Arborist soon after.

Sean joined Bartlett's team in January 2024 and has worked as a Crew Member, Plant Health Care Specialist, and Consulting Arborist. Along the way, he obtained his Qualified Applicator License (QAL), Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), and is an ISA Certified Arborist. He is currently studying to become a Board-Certified Master Arborist.

Outside of work, Sean likes to explore parks throughout California. He enjoys architecture and is trying to get into bonsai.
