Matt has a degree in Arboriculture and Community Forestry Management from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, UMASS Amherst. He has been in the green industry since 1998 and acquired a variety of experience before he joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2008. He held the positions Arborist Climber and Crew Leader in Charlotte, North Carolina and then in Bolingbrook, Illinois through 2010. Matt’s career continued to advance in arboriculture and related areas including landscape design and installations. In 2023, Matt rejoined Bartlett Tree Experts as an Arborist Representative in Waldwick, New Jersey.
Matt is a Licensed Tree Expert (LTE), International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist, a Certified Pesticide Technician, and a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional (CTSP). He is committed to working with clients to create and maintain a safe, healthy, and beautiful landscape. Matt is passionate about educating clients regarding their property options and creating tailored landscape recommendations with a focus on the preservation of trees.
In his free time, Matt enjoys fishing, hiking, and camping with his wife, two daughters, and Labrador Retriever. He also enjoys woodworking, home improvement projects (especially in the landscape), and running.
