Matt Brown

Matt has been dedicated to the care of trees and shrubs in the Pacific Northwest since 2021, when he began his journey with Bartlett Tree Experts as an Arborist Grounds Person. His passion for arboriculture quickly blossomed, leading him to advance into the role of Arborist Climber and Crew Leader. Before joining Bartlett, Matt spent nearly a decade honing his skills in customer service, wildlife management, and pest control--fields that deepened his understanding of ecological systems and client care. His diverse background has equipped him with a unique perspective and a strong foundation for his work in arboriculture.

In 2025, Matt earned his ISA Certified Arborist credential, a testament to his commitment to professional growth and industry standards. Now based in the Olympia, WA area, he is eager to build meaningful connections within the local horticultural community. Matt approaches each project with integrity, care, and a deep respect for the natural environment. His goal is to provide customers with expert guidance and reliable service, ensuring the health and longevity of their landscapes.

Outside of work, Matt leads an active and creative lifestyle. He enjoys snowboarding in the winter months and finds inspiration through reading and painting. His adventurous spirit extends to recreational tree climbing and rock climbing, activities that reflect his love for nature and physical challenge. Whether scaling a tree or exploring a new trail, Matt brings enthusiasm and curiosity to everything he does.
