More about Mary Lee Citrino
Mary Lee is an arborist representative caring for landscaped properties on the North Shore of Long Island. She grew up in Butler, Pennsylvania just north of Pittsburgh on what was formerly a nursery where Ilex Crenata ‘Stokes’ was hybridized by Warren Stokes in 1949. Her parents proceeded to plant hundreds of specimen trees, perennial beds, shrub borders and annual beds to populate their property. Enjoying and caring for this material informed her passion for the landscape. She graduated Lehigh University with a BS in Marketing. She is currently Chair of the Garden Committee and a trustee of Old Westbury Gardens, co-chair of the Buildings & Grounds and Cemetery committees at St. John’s Church in Cold Spring Harbor and a Provisional Horticulture Judge for the Garden Club of America. She is engaged in procuring a Cultural Landscape Report for Olmsted-designed, Memorial Cemetery in Laurel Hollow as well as securing and a tree inventory for that project.
