More about Mary Lee Citrino

Mary Lee grew up in Butler, Pennsylvania on a property that was formerly a nursery. The holly plant Ilex Crenata ‘Stokes’ was hybridized there by Warren Stokes in 1949. Her family planted hundreds of specimen trees, perennial beds, shrub borders and annual beds to populate their home. Mary Lee graduated from Lehigh University with a BS in Marketing. However, enjoying and caring for the family property had instilled a passion for the landscape and she turned to arboriculture. Mary Lee joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2017 as an arborist Representative.

An ISA Certified Arborist, Mary Lee is also Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ) and a New York State licensed pesticide applicator.

In her free time, Mary Lee is currently a member of the Garden Committee at Old Westbury Gardens, Horticulture co-chair of the Garden Club of East Hampton and an approved Horticulture Judge for the Garden Club of America.
