Mark is an Arboricultural Consultant advising on a wide range of tree-related matters. These include the preparation of reports in relation to proposed developments in accordance with the British Standard 5837(2012), decay detection (using the PICUS Sonic Tomograph and Resistance Micro Drill), tree surveys for health, safety, condition and management plans and tree management for conservation woodland. Mark also offers advice on Tree Preservation Orders and can carry out aerial inspections of trees.
Mark’s passion for trees came at a young age growing up in the surroundings of a National Trust woodland. At the young age of 15 he attended Merrist Wood College where he was awarded an NVQ level 2 in Horticulture and Arboriculture. Mark furthered his knowledge by studying for a NCH & ND qualification in Arboriculture.
Mark has over 20 years experience and knowledge in most areas of the arboricultural industry including running his own business. This includes working with with Local Authorities, several Power Companies, the MOD, National Trust, Forestry Commission, Duchy of Cornwall as well as other commercial, private, and domestic clients.
