More about Mark Inzano
Mark has over 25 years of experience in the horticultural industry. His interest began in high school when he worked growing vegetables, perennials, and annuals on a local farm. His education and extensive experience since that time reflect a lifelong passion for plants. He has a degree in Plant Science from the School of Environmental and Biological Service at Rutgers University. While there, he worked for the Plant Biology Department’s plant breeding program where he was involved in the research and cultivation of hazelnut, holly, dogwood species.
In addition to holding management positions at major landscaping companies, Mark has extensive experience with public gardens and nonprofit organizations. He worked as a gardener at the Hillwood Estate Museum and Garden in Washington DC. He managed the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, Willowood Arboretum, and Bamboo Brook Environmental Outdoor Education Center. Since his return to New Jersey, he was the Superintendent of Horticulture for the Somerset County Park Commission, and prior to joining Bartlett in 2021, the Manager of Horticulture for the Morris County Park Commission.
Mark is a New Jersey Licensed Tree Expert and New Jersey Licensed Pesticide Applicator. He enjoys sharing his expertise to help clients make informed decisions to maintain the health and beauty of their properties.
In his free time Mark enjoys fishing, hiking and camping.
