Kurt A. Mohr

Kurt has been a Northern Virginia area resident for 49 years. Kurt graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and began his arboriculture career at Bartlett in 1988.

Kurt manages over 545 residential and commercial properties throughout Arlington County. He is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified, some of the highest professional certifications from the International Society of Arboriculture. He has also been a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) since 2010. Kurt enjoys promoting proper tree care practices through garden club talks and Master Gardener classes.

Kurt is very active in Bartlett’s ‘Legacy Tree Program’, providing tree seedlings and discussion to schools and children groups for Arbor Day distribution. The Bartlett Legacy Tree Program has provided over 750,000 seedlings throughout the county.
