Joe found his passion for trees while studying at the University of Kentucky, where he graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. He traveled throughout the United States, Canada, and Southeast Asia during and after college working as a Tree Surveyor, Inventory Arborist, Utility Forester, Snowboard Instructor, and Landscape Designer. Joe found his way to California in 2015 after leaving his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2016, Joe began his career with Bartlett Tree Experts in the San Rafael office. He held positions as a Plant Health Care Specialist and a Regional Inventory Arborist prior to becoming an Arborist Representative.
An ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Joe is also ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. He enjoys developing relationships with clients, sharing his knowledge and experience to help them make educated decisions regarding the care of their trees and shrubs. He schedules and manages work to completion and client satisfaction.
In his free time, Joe enjoys relaxing, exercising and spending time with friends. Some of his favorite activities are hiking, running, fitness, snowboarding, yoga, exploring and gardening.
