More about Joe Harris
Joe grew up in Charlotte, Michigan, as a second-generation arborist. He spent his weekends and summers climbing trees and splitting wood. If he wasn’t at work with his father he would keep himself busy hiking, hunting or fishing.
It was in Joe’s childhood that his passion for the outdoors developed. In 2004, drawn to the warm weather, Joe found himself in San Marcos, Texas. He became intrigued with the inner workings of the arboricultural industry.
Joe studied business at Texas State University. He joined Bartlett while he was there. Joe gained experience working five years in the field as a crew leader and as an arborist climber. Recently, Joe made the transition to Arborist Representative.
An ISA Certified Arborist and a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional, Joe holds a commercial pesticide applicator license with the Texas Department of Agriculture.
Joe is a husband and father to his son and rescue dog, Duke. He and his family enjoy spending their time on the San Marcos River kayaking, fishing, and hiking. They also enjoy a good farmer’s market or a stroll around the local nurseries.
