More about Jeromy Gardner
A lifelong Vermonter and conservationist, Jeromy grew up in the rolling Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. In an era where New England forests were suddenly devoid of majestic elms and giant chestnuts due to diseases and pest infestation, Jeromy knew that his calling would be the preservation and conservation of the New England landscape. After a two-year adventure exploring the western U.S., Jeromy returned east, heading to Paul Smith's College where he earned his bachelor's degree in Forestry. It was this education, combined with his lifelong passion for arboriculture, which led Jeromy to join his expertise with Bartlett's dedication to scientific tree care. He is a Certified Arborist by the ISA. As an arborist with deep community roots, Jeromy is quick to volunteer his time and knowledge to several local organizations. As a volunteer with the Manchester Arbor Day Celebration, Jeromy helps teach children the importance of forest conservation. He additionally serves as a Board Member for the American Chestnut Foundation and is a Trustee at Merck Forest and Farmland Center. Jeromy takes great pride in his role, along with Bartlett, in preserving some of Vermont's oldest and most historically significant trees.
