More about Jeffrey Metcalf
Jeff was born and raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and developed a passion for the outdoors at a young age. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point in May of 2013 with a dual major in Wildlife Ecology and Biology. After graduation, Jeff worked with multiple local, state, and federal agencies, and an international private company gaining experience in environmental restoration and conducting inventories of prairies to forests. Prior to 2020, Jeff had his own business helping homeowners plan and install landscaping using native plants (i.e. pollinator gardens and native rain banks), as well as tree pruning and removals.
Jeff comes to Bartlett with over three years of experience as a commercial consulting arborist in the Twin Cities. As an ISA-certified arborist and a Minnesota State-certified tree Inspector, Jeff enjoys working with commercial clients to proactively maintain their tree and shrub landscapes. Backed by the diagnostic resources of the Bartlett Research Laboratories, Jeff helps property owners and boards make educated decisions about their tree and shrub care.
Jeff lives in Bloomington, Minnesota with his wife, two dogs, and cat. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, camping, woodworking, and caring for the native prairie on his property.
