Geoffrey Thill

Geoffrey began working for a local landscape company in his hometown of Stevens Point, WI while still in high school. From there his passion for trees led him to study at Mid-State Technical College and the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, where he earned an Associate's degree in Urban Forestry and a Bachelor's of Science in Forestry. Geoffrey has been working for Bartlett Tree experts since 2005, where he started as an intern. Over the years Geoffrey has gained knowledge through hands on experiences in pruning, soil care, and the diagnoses and treatment of trees and shrubs for insects and diseases. Geoffrey is an ISA Certified Arborist, a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert, and a Maryland Certified Pesticide Applicator. In his spare time, Geoffrey is an avid swimmer. He coaches youth swimming lessons at the local YMCA, and is an active volunteer and member of the Masters Swim Team. He especially enjoys open water swimming and has competed in the 4.4 mile Great Chesapeake Bay Swim.
