More about Emmett Heckman
Emmett graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College in 2017 with a degree in Natural Resources Management. He has a background in orchard and vineyard management. Emmett joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2019 in Central Massachusetts. He held positions including Arborist Climber, Crew Leader and Plant Health Care Specialist prior to Arborist Representative. Emmett relocated to Vermont and the Burlington office in 2023.
Emmett is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified Arborist. He is passionate about maintaining natural ecosystems with native plants. He is particularly interested in building resilient landscapes to overcome challenges such as changing climate, extreme weather events, urban pollution, and invasive pests. Emmett is also a member of the Vermont Nursery and Landscape Association and The American Chestnut Foundation.
Emmett moved to Jericho, Vermont in 2023 with his wife, two dogs and a cat. In his free time, Emmett is often hiking, kayaking, training dogs, and playing disc golf.
