More about Drew Philpott

Drew was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. He moved to Tennessee in 2014 to attend Sewanee: The University of The South, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in forestry. Drew started working with Bartlett Tree Experts in 2018. He has served as a Groundperson, Climber, Crew Leader, and Plant Health Care Specialist. He also served as the Local Office Safety Coordinator helping to mentor new employees and focus on the continuing education side of arboriculture. Drew now serves as the Local Manager of the Nashville office.

Drew is an ISA Bord Certified Master Arborist as well as a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional. From projects such as inventorying 13,000 acres of forested land at Sewanee to climbing mature trees and diagnosing plant health issues, caring for trees has played a major role in Drew’s life.

Drew’s favorite tree is the willow oak, which can be found throughout Tennessee. He and his wife Emily enjoy hiking, kayaking, and spending time with their friends and family. Drew is a lover of animals, especially his dogs, Hattie and Teddy, and two cats, Tiki Tunes and Snicker Doodle.
