David has been in the landscape and arboriculture industry for over 20 years. He owned & operated a business for 14 years and has served as a Consulting Arborist for the City of Newburgh, New York. In that role he advised the city on management of their tree inventory, performed Tree Risk Assessments, and wrote a 5 Year Urban Forestry Plan.
An ISA Certified Arborist, David joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2017. He was a Plant Heath Care Specialist in Elmsford, NY, prior to becoming an Arborist Representative in Waldwick, NJ. His other certifications include Licensed Pesticide Applicator and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ).
David is passionate about the communities in which he lives and works. He sits on the Board of the Downing Park Planning Committee, whose goal is to restore a beautiful park in Newburgh, NY that was a tribute to pioneering horticulturist Andrew Jackson Downing. He also enjoys teaching and training others in the care of trees. Spending time with his son is the most important priority in his life.
