Dan grew up in Western Massachusetts where he developed a love for trees at a young age. His desire to learn more about the natural world led him to the University of Vermont where he studied Forestry and Environmental Science. After graduating, Dan worked at the University of Massachusetts as a research assistant studying street tree survivability in Springfield, MA. He also worked with ReGreen Springfield, a non-profit dedicating to restoring the urban canopy following the EF-3 Tornado in 2011.
In 2014, Dan joined Bartlett Tree Experts to pursue a career in Arboriculture. He has progressed steadily within the company; he held positions as Climber, Crew Leader, Plant Health Care Specialist, and Local Office Safety Coordinator prior to becoming an Arborist Representative. Dan provides personalized tree care solutions to help clients maintain their landscapes.
Dan lives with his wife, Ally, and dog Tula in the Roslindale neighborhood of Boston.
