Carl was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and attended Virginia Tech University as a third generation Hokie. After taking an elective “Arboriculture Field Skills” course his sophomore year, he was offered an internship in 2016 with Bartlett Tree Experts in Fredericksburg, VA. Upon graduation, Carl continued his career with Bartlett as a Climber then a Crew Leader in 2018.
Carl is an ISA Certified Arborist, TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professional, and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ). He also holds a FAA drone pilots license and hopes to apply this technology to the field of arboriculture. With his knowledge, qualifications, and diagnostic support of the Bartlett Research Laboratories, Carl and his team can answer your tree and shrub care questions and provide recommendations that will keep your landscape healthy, safe, and beautiful.
Having settled down in Wilmington, Carl is beginning the long journey of learning the necessary coastal hobbies such as fishing, surfing, and (one day) boating. Maintaining an active lifestyle, Carl is an avid runner and weightlifter.
