Michael Van Dyken

Michael’s interest in tree care was originally sparked as a youngster while watching a Bartlett Tree Experts crew work on his parents’ trees in Grand Rapids Michigan. Shortly after graduating from Calvin University with a degree in Biology, Michael started his own career with Bartlett. Prior to becoming a Bartlett Arborist Representative, Michael held the roles of Plant Health Care Specialist, Climbing Arborist, Crew Leader, and Regional Inventory Arborist. Gaining experience in a variety of these roles has helped Michael fully understand all facets of arboriculture. He enjoys helping clients in Minneapolis, St Louis Park, and Golden Valley diagnose and treat their ailing trees and shrubs, as well as providing comprehensive pruning and treatment plans to maintain their landscapes. Michael, his wife Sarah, and two sons Silas and Luke live in Savage. They enjoy spending time with friends and family. Weekends, they relax and volunteer at their church. They also like to check out local breweries and food trucks with friends.
