Matthew Stobbart

Matthew Stobbart was born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where he developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors, trees, and the natural beauty of the ocean. He began his professional journey in arboriculture in 2009 and has had several experiences before beginning his career with Bartlett, in 2024. Matt started his career as a Plant Health Care Specialist, contributing to the Asian Longhorn Beetle Eradication Program in Worcester, MA, and in New York City’s Central Park, where he served as a climbing surveyor. Over the years, he gained extensive hands-on experience as a Climbing Arborist, Plant Health Care Specialist, and as an Account Manager – managing diverse landscapes throughout Greater Boston. In 2019, Matt transitioned into a customer service and leadership role, combining his technical expertise to help clients around Greater Boston care for their trees. At Bartlett, he brings his passion to educate clients about their trees, the environment, and their landscape

Matt holds several professional certifications, including being an ISA-Certified Arborist, a Massachusetts Certified Arborist (MCA), and he is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. He takes pride in helping clients make informed, thoughtful, and practical decisions to enhance the health, beauty, and sustainability of their trees and landscapes.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys time with his wife and two children. Together, they enjoy saltwater fishing, family beach days during the summer, and traveling to the mountains to take in the sights and spend time outdoors.
