Briggs Wakeman

Briggs was born and raised outside of Harrisonburg, Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Forestry from Virginia Tech University in 2019. Before his senior year, Briggs found his passion for arboriculture while working for a tree company in Boulder, Colorado. After graduating, he joined Bartlett Tree Experts in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he spent 6 years working as a Plant Health Care Specialist and Climbing Arborist. Briggs moved to Summerville, South Carolina in 2024 to continue his career at Bartlett Tree Experts as an Arborist Representative.

Briggs is an ISA Certified Arborist and Certified Pesticide Applicator. He is detail oriented and prides himself in delivering excellent customer service with the highest level of professionalism. Backed by the diagnostic support of the Bartlett Research Laboratories, Briggs and his team can answer your tree and shrub care questions and provide recommendations to keep your landscape healthy, safe, and beautiful.

In his free time, Briggs enjoys hiking, outdoor photography, finding the best food around town, and spending time with his family, friends, and pets.
