September 23, 2021 – Stamford, CT – A group of arborists from Bartlett Tree Experts, the world’s leading scientific tree and shrub care company, donated a day of work on September 22, 2021 to honor America’s military service men and women during the annual Saluting Branches day of service.

From coast to coast, 60 Bartlett arborists from 16 offices volunteered their time to benefit the largest volunteer event of its kind in the tree care industry. In addition to donating time to provide tree care services at 12 national and state veteran’s cemeteries and properties, Bartlett made a financial donation to Saluting Branches as a Partner-level sponsor for the day of service.

“Without this generous donation from Bartlett Tree Experts, it wouldn’t be possible to support all of the people who are volunteering,” said Tom Prosser, founder of Rainbow Treecare. Saluting Branches was created by the company in 2015 and is now a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing and honoring veterans. 

“We are pleased to provide our support to Saluting Branches because of the difference this annual event makes to honor America’s military service men and women,” said Jim Ingram, President and COO of Bartlett Tree Experts. “It is important to give back to our communities in this meaningful way to improve the beauty and safety of trees located in these hallowed sites.”

Millions of Americans pay their respects each year at national and state veterans’ cemeteries and properties. This year, Saluting Branches pulled more than 4,000 green industry professionals together to care for thousands of trees at more than 80 VA veterans’ cemeteries, veterans’ homes and veterans’ hospitals across the country.
