I have two large trees with mistletoe and wanted to know have to deal with removing them.

Ideally, you need to cut off the branch 6" to 18" back from where the mistletoe sprouts out of the branch. If you can't make that cut, then just scrap the mistletoe off of the tree. Again, ideally you need to caulk the wound and then cover it with black plastic or Gorilla tape.
