Tree preservation reports

Tree preservation is the process whereby existing trees, soils, and other landscape plants are protected from damage during development and construction activities. A crucial component of this process is planning for long-term tree care. Consulting Arborists inventory the trees on site and record their species, size, location, condition, suitability for preservation, and other attributes. This information is compiled into a Tree Preservation Report (sometimes called an Arborist Report). Once the project is in the design phase, the Consulting Arborist will review the development plans, create a tree impact assessment, and define tree protection zones.

A Tree Preservation Report written by a Consulting Arborist typically includes the local tree ordinance details, site observations, tree impacts, tree preservation guidelines, and recommended maintenance for impacted trees.
