Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) in Buffalo, NY

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has announced that Emerald Ash Borer has been detected in Buffalo. This is the first infestation found in Erie County.

Recently, several purple traps have been distributed throughout our area to monitor the situation. To the right is a picture of one of the traps being hung in a green ash tree located at our office on 6271 Fremont Road in East Syracuse, NY.
