Aphids and mites are small insect pests that feed on sap and infect plants by injecting toxins that cause deformities such as twisting of new growth and stunting. Cast ‘skin’ and sticky honeydew can be indicators of an aphid infestation.

The most important step in control of these pests is early detection. Have your plants checked often and treat as soon as pests are found. Healthy plants are more resistant to insects, diseases and damage. As such, it is important to have an arborist inspect your property and recommend appropriate action.
