Trent came out initially to see the tree. I needed to get a city permit as it was a protected tree. Once I had the permit I booked the crew. Luke and John came out to do the trim. They were both courteous and professional. They asked once they were close to completion if there were any branches I would like further cut. I pointed a few small ones and they finished up. All your staff were very friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. They took the time to answer questions completely. It was a very pleasant experience from initial contact all the way through to arborist , tree trimmers, trunk grinding, and cleanup crew. The work was done in a timely manner and it was a joy to watch the tree trimmer carefully and thoughtfully remove trunk and branches without doing any damage to property. There were spots where I could not see a way to avoid tree limbs brushing against power lines or the house on the way down, but it was avoided by the meticulous planning of cuts. Knowledgeable, friendly people who get the job done quickly and do a satisfactory clean up before leaving. I generally like doing my own trimming but I am getting older and needed to find someone I could use on a regular basis. I thought I would have to try a few people to find someone I was happy with, but Bartlett ticked all the boxes on my want and need list. Thanks.

I am very happy I called Bartlett. They responded right away and sent Trevor, the Arborist, out to see what could be done to save a large climbing Hydrangea which was embedded in a fence that was scheduled for replacement. The crew came out quickly and did a masterful job, removing the fence and pruning it back so that the new fence could easily be installed. They also did a soil treatment. The pruning was beautifully done, saving virtually the whole tree. They also returned after the new fence was installed, to expertly re-anchor the climbing Hydrangea to the new fence posts. Hey Gareth, I just wanted to thank you so much for scheduling the 40% canopy limbing of the Red Alder so promptly. Today I saw a very hard working and efficient crew removing a huge Douglas Fir that crushed a mobile home that almost killed the occupant. As I was there I noticed how well they delicately removed the tree without causing any further damage to the structure. At one point one of the crew talked to me about a missing cat. He told me he scanned inside to search for the cat. His attentiveness was above and beyond the call of duty. My hat is off. Thank you to the Bartlett crew.

Snow toppled a dozen 12’ Cedars that formed part of a hedge between my place and my neighbors. I called Bartlett and they had a crew out in no time to cut them down and haul them away. That left the stumps, which another crew ground out a few days later. Bartlett explained the stumps revealed root-rot, which contributed to the weakened condition of the plants. A month after the snowfall, we got a new fence to fill the gap. Bartlett also tied back many hanging branches on my remaining hedge, which they are now scheduled to trim. Full professional service from Bartlett. At a reasonable price.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Bartlett. I called the company and spoke with a very helpful woman who moved things around so Michael could come look at my very large, very storm damaged Cypress tree right away. Michael came out and assessed the tree that was in danger of falling on my telephone and internet wires. Within hours Michael emailed me a quote, which was very reasonable, and I signed the contract and emailed it back. Bartlett came out the following morning and removed the tree for me. The crew understood what needed to be done and clearly thought about where they were cutting as they shaped the trees and shrubs in question. A big thank you to Trent who dealt with the pruning of my Japanese Maple immediately. I have had carpenter ants, and the tree needed to be pruned away from my house. He maintained the shape but now there are no leaves or limbs touching my house. I am very happy with the results.
