Bartlett has been my tree service Company for over twenty years now because they do tree service right every time. This experience was perfect in every way. I believe Matt Carpenter takes as much pride in my property as I do. With an acre and a half of forest area sprinkled with landscape, there is always something to maintain, fertilize, or cut. His yearly visit assures a healthy outlook overall. This job took two days and two different crews, each individual working together with cheerful attitudes, focused on their responsibilities in a timely manner. From first cut to last cleanup was a pleasure.

They worked steadily in 97-degree heat from 8:30 a.m. until 2:20 p.m. just taking a 30 minute break for lunch. For that alone, they must be commended. I was super impressed with Forrest and his crew. Forrest could not have been nicer, or more polite. I explained what I wanted, and Forrest listened to me. He gave me his recommendation and it was like he was reading my mind. Forrest made the decision of which company I would use really easy for me, so he left knowing he had my business. The day of the work, Forrest was back with his crew just as he said he would be. He told the crew what needed to be done and made sure I agreed with his instructions before he left. The crew leader was awesome. He was very polite, open, and friendly. He kept asking me during the work if I was ok with what they were doing which made me feel at ease. When the crew was finished, the leader walked me around the tree to see if I wanted anymore trimming and spotted a couple more limbs he thought should be trimmed. We are loyal customers since 2005 and we trust this business like family. Art Morris, arborist, made made an unscheduled visit to assess our trees - which Art does every couple of years. One trip for tree feeding and another for tree pruning. I was home for the pruning and saw how carefully they moved our patio furniture out of harm's way. They also worked around my unoccupied honey bee swarm traps which hang in the crepe myrtles at a height of 30 feet. Their work is very methodical and safe.

Our rep at Bartlett, Art Morris, saw us through the very difficult decision of whether to remove our dying 150 year-old oak tree. We initially called Bartlett in because we wanted the advice of a Master Arborist and someone who was not in the business of cutting down trees. Not only was Art extremely knowledgeable about the possible causes of the oak's demise, first offering solutions to remedy it and later helping us through the difficult process of removal, he was also compassionate and generous with his time, visiting our home a number of times to answer our questions and concerns about the situation. We were impressed with Art's dedication to helping us after our initial attempts to save the tree, as this was not an official "service" he billed us for. It's also for this reason we recently chose Bartlett for the job of trimming the trees in our yard. While not the least expensive choice, we knew that Bartlett would send professionals to deal with our trees. We originally chose Bartlett based on the great feedback we had heard about them and we would like to add our two cents to that.
