Returning home after being away for a while I noticed a sixty foot Hickory tree in my yard had not produced hickory nuts this year and had dropped several branches. Fortunately, Bartlett Tree Experts let me know the tree could be saved but was clearly under stress. The Bartlett crew did some critical limb removal. This work included repelling up the tree to reach some higher limbs. I took the arborist's advice and got my soil analyzed by experts. Sure enough, as he surmised, my soil is potassium deficient. I now am ready to start amending it with high potassium fertilizer. I am so glad I turned this tree work over to these highly skilled and conscientious Bartlett Tree Experts.

After our Arborist, Chris Renn, contacted us that our originally scheduled date for tree removal had to be postponed due to an equipment issue, he seemed to pull a few strings and favors and arranged to have equipment and personnel available for the very next day. Kevin Bradberry and Stephen Glass showed up as a two-man team. They worked very efficiently and professionally together and removed one very tall Pine, plus a small Dogwood, and then cleaned up all of the resulting debris. It was truly a pleasure to watch these two men take care of their task. We also appreciated that Chris Renn stopped by to check on the work being done. Prior to the scheduled work, Chris had also made first contact with Duke of Stumpbusters, and made arrangements with Bartlett's Kevin Bradberry to spray six trees with the Bark Beetle Treatment. We made final arrangements with Kevin, and he was out promptly to complete that part of the project. I have also found Administrative Assistant Emily Norman a pleasure to deal with. More than several professional tree service firms I contacted for service quotations never called back or did not show up as promised to assess our situation. Others provided less than detailed quotations for service. Michael Lindsey responded promptly and provided a good written quote and service description. Pam provided a certificate of insurance. Mr. Lindsey fit us in his schedule as our need was immediate. My wife Kathy commented that the crew was professional and treated her with respect and answered her questions without talking down to her. Because I am a safety engineer and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), she was impressed that personal protective equipment (PPE) was donned by the crew and all the crew were well-dressed wearing company logo shirts. They came to the work site neat and clean. The final work statement letter Mr. Lindsey provided for our files was much appreciated too.

I would use Bartlett Tree Experts professional services again and hope that each person we met will continue the positive attitudes shown to us. There are many tree service firms, but communication and service are critical starting points. If I live to be 100 I will never understand how some businesses survive when they do not respond to potential client requests. Because Bartlett Tree Experts responded in a timely manner, this was one of the main factors we chose your services.
