Our 50 foot Oak tree was clearly in trouble, most likely due to an irrigation leak that had delivered too much water over a lengthy period of time underneath that tree. After the 2017 fire, we needed to replace the entire irrigation system, and the consultant for that work told us we were probably going to have to take the tree down. It was unimaginable to think of our back yard without that magnificent tree. Instead of taking it down, we called Bud Reeves at Bartlett Tree Experts, and he recommended a course of action that would save the tree. Bartlett has been providing a quarterly service regimen ever since, and this Spring our tree has truly blossomed for the first time in years. We do not bother with comparative estimates. You get what you pay for, and we certainly did.

I was greeted professionally by Leslie when I called. She was diligent in promptly scheduling me with an arborist for an evaluation. Additionally, she heard me when I said I had a very tight personal schedule and communicated this to the arborist. Due to that tight schedule, I was very appreciative of Bud arriving early for our initial appointment. Bud gave me a very thorough description of the work that was needed and I felt immediately comfortable that I was dealing with a pro. The appointment for the work was within two weeks and the crew arrived and got right to work as planned. I could not be more impressed with Bartlett. Bud was so professional and prompt. He told me his guys would come out to cut down the tree on a day that was expected to rain heavily. He warned me that if it rained too hard they may not come. It ended up being a day of horrendous rain and they still came out. I felt bad for the guys. Bud got everything done on time and very clean. Could not be more impressed and would use Bartlett for all future work.

These trees have been pruned at least five times over the last eighteen years, though I am not an expert, I could tell they were not cut with precision, they were pruned for the purpose of becoming shorter.
