Am very pleased with the outstanding service I have received from everyone at Bartlett. Starting with my very first call to the Santa Monica office. Gaby was very patient and understanding of my concerns with wanting to have an inspection done right away. She was able to have it scheduled for 1/25. Andrew came on time and did a very excellent job of reviewing with me each of the various problems that needed to be taken care of. We decided to have the job done on 3/01 in order to allow time for the proposal to be completed. Crew Leader Ben with assist by Robert came on 3/01 and was able to complete the entire job in three hours, exceeding expectations.

I can not say enough wonderful words about this company and the staff. I have been through hell with my very large property with all four hundred ficus trees and several other tree types all having issues of different types. Ficus trees losing their leaves and dying from the tops, the Elm had mushrooms growing all over it and was not in good condition, and the Palms were doing something called "crowning." Everything was brown and dying. I had a very expensive landscaping company who did all the initial planting and work two years ago, how could everything be dying already. They had no idea what was going on with anything and had no help for me. They told me to find an arborist. I hired an arborist and paid a chunk of change for him to come do some work, and all he did was spray for white fly which was not the cause of any of the issues in the end. Once I hired Bartlett they confirmed the issues. The Ficus trees were planted to deeply and needed to be aerated. They were struggling to get oxygen and thrive. Every tree needed aeration and time to breathe. The fake grass around the Elm needed to be ripped out so the tree above could get the nutrients it needed and the oxygen it needed to breathe. Finally real answers. They did the work plus fertilization and vitamins were added after the aeration was done and in just weeks the Ficus trees are all blooming new leaves and looking lush again. This company is the real deal. They care, they know plants and trees, and they will help you find answers and fix the problems. I will use them forever. Plus they have the nicest staff ever. Andrew is absolutely the best.

We had a fallen tree that was rather precarious and needed to be removed immediately. Some of the other companies we called were very flakey with communications. Andrew came by for the estimate that afternoon. He was patient with all our questions, and very knowledgeable. They worked with us on pricing. We decided to remove the debris ourselves, over time, since it was only one tree, to keep the price down. Jeff came by the next morning to remove the tree. He was also very patient with our questions, and very knowledgeable. He did a great job, and a great cleanup. We will be using them again to take care of the rest of our property.

The men who have worked on our property trimming trees have been very courteous and respectful. They appear to aim to please. Dan Thatcher is quite knowledgeable and communicates well with us, and the staff on site before they start the job. He explains to us why certain trees need to be cut in a certain way with consideration both aesthetically and for the health of the trees. We very recently had our large Oak tree trimmed with emphasis on raising the skirt and cutting branches away from the house. Because of the timing, they were unable to cut more, according to Dan. In August, September, or next October we will have this Oak tree thinned to the degree the city will allow, and will request more radical pruning so as to let more of the front of our house show from the street.

I received the most excellent service and follow-up help from Isaac Ramirez, of what needed to be done to correct the many years of neglect to the trees on my property. I really did appreciate his careful consideration of what I thought and what he could have the crew do to best accomplish the work without harm to the trees. In addition special thanks to Maria Camarena, Admin assistant, for her help on my phone inquiries. The crew did a really fine job of working around the cars that were not movable in the driveway and the other obstacles that were on the property. I want to commend Ryan for the careful pest control work that was done too.

Rod Mann and his crew did a fantastic job properly trimming several of the Oaks around our house, as well as a small grove of Acacias and a very tall hedge of Podocarpus. During the three day job the crew was very professional and cleaned up debris at the end of each day. I recommend Rod Mann very highly and will plan to use his services in the future.

Graham was courteous and thorough and even returned to Bartlett to pick up extra equipment needed to brace a young lemon tree that had fallen during a recent storm, although his main purpose for coming had been to spray our olive tree. I wouldn't trust my recently landscaped backyard to any other service. I trust the way you are knowledgeable about trees and plants, and not just guys driving around the neighborhood with a truck and pruning equipment!
