Gary Hill provided very helpful advice and guidance on appropriate pruning native trees in a small communal garden so as to retain the trees and their ecological value but avoid any conflict with nearby houses. It is a complex job to keep everyone satisfied and Gary is definitely the calm voice of reason. The crew members were very diligent in checking the work schedule before starting and kept me up to speed on what work they intended to carry out each day. The crew worked quietly and efficiently causing minimum disruptions and disturbance. The trees were expertly pruned giving them a pleasing and natural shape and able to thrive in the future. The semi natural woodland feel of the croft was sensitively retained despite quite extensive works. We asked to keep the logs which the crew cut for us and we were able to stacked them into habitat piles to help nature conservation. All residents surrounding the communal garden are very pleased with the whole process.
