He was right on time for the initial inspection and estimate and communication was quick and effective afterwards. When the big tree fell during a windstorm, Bartlett was on the scene fairly quickly and returned a couple of times for debris removal and to take down another tree that was at risk. One of their arborists came within two weeks to do an assessment of the remaining trees for possible risk. When something big like this happens you are in a state of shock for a while afterwards. The Bartlett teams that came were very kind and helpful and that was so appreciated. If I know of anyone who might need Bartlett's services I will for sure recommend this company. We need our trees. It was heartbreaking to lose two big ones and one very old Lliac. I look forward to replanting in the spring. I appreciated all the advice I was given, especially from Peter Grellier.

Our experience with getting the quote was alright, but the best part was the crew we got. Elliot and Mark were great. Elliot was exceptional, did an excellent job, was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were thrilled with the job he did. Was better than any past work done by Davey or others. We will definitely ask specifically for Elliot the next time we need work done, he was an amazing asset for Bartlett. I originally called Donovan Neelin because we had a good experience with him when he was with another firm, but this was outside of his territory, so I guess we were lucky to end up with Elliot. More expensive that some of the other quotes we got, but we thought it best to get a bucket truck to have the front tree properly trimmed. Elliot did a super job, I think the best we have had ever with these trees.

Mike Nugent is fantastic. He listens to what I want and promptly replies to any queries I have. He seems very knowledgeable in his field. I've had previous tree removal and pruning done which was done with the same efficiency and professionalism as the stump removal. I was home when the guys came to remove the stump. One of the worker's knocked on door to introduce himself and to say what they were there for. They went on to grind down the stump and rake it over to level it. Again, I was impressed with how quickly they got the job done and I am pleased with the results. Mike and the crew members were so good, I mentioned it to my co-worker who was looking to get her two trees pruned and she ended up calling Bartlett and got a quote.

Our property is the first urban farm in West Point Grey. The Arborist team has to work around the crop areas, they did this with a lot of grace and carefulness and did not damage any of the young plants coming up. What I chiefly depend on with Bartlett is the attention to detail that is the hallmark of their work for us. We have a large laurel hedge which needs very specific pruning and over the years I have tried about eight different landscaping companies which all failed to do what I was asking. Bartlett alone is the only firm which did exactly what I requested. As well we have received excellent suggestions for new trees and bushes. Extremely intelligent and knowledgeable staff.
