More about Thorsten Clausen

Thor Clausen grew up in the Okanagan and was raised on a self-sufficient hobby farm. Throughout his youth he gained valuable experience working in the orchards and vineyards of the area doing tasks from pruning to pest control and grafting. After receiving his Diploma in Landscape design Thor operated a small award winning landscape design firm in the Greater Vancouver area. He received his Arborist Certification in the early 90's and continued to upgrade and add many industry recognized certifications. Upon returning to the Okanagan in 1999 he started a small tree company and became an instructor for Arboriculture Canada teaching all aspects of tree care to both private and municipal clients across Canada and the United states. In 2009 Thor was recognized with an award from the International Society of Arboriculture for contributions to the industry. Thor and his staff joined Bartlett Tree Experts in late 2009 and through the science and opportunities offered by the company he continues to advance and truly enjoy his clients and all that the industry has to offer.
