Tom was raised on his family's dairy farm in northern West Virginia. He developed a strong relationship with nature and the outdoors there. His graduation from West Virginia University earned him a bachelor's degree in forestry. Tom began his career with Bartlett Tree Experts in 2004. Bartlett’s scientific and holistic approach to tree care coincided with his own views.

Tom is an ISA Certified Arborist. He has been recognized as a Bartlett Tree Expert company Champion for his work in plant health care. Over the years, Tom has gained valuable personal experience in all aspects of tree care. His knowledge about pruning, soil care, and insect and disease management set him apart. He services the Oakton and Vienna communities as an Arborist Representative and takes great pride in offering unique solutions to enhance and care for clients’ trees and landscapes.

Tom enjoys spending time hiking, fishing, and mountain biking.
