More about Stephen Butler
Stephen graduated from Texas A&M University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Forestry. After graduation he began his career in tree care at a tree farm in northeast Texas where he developed his skill at juvenile tree and shrub care. Next in Stephen’s career was residential tree care in the North Dallas area where he was mentored by a master arborist and spent four years as a plant health care technician. Stephen performed plant health care treatments and monitored hundreds of customers’ trees and shrubs. Then, with a firm understanding of arboriculture and plant health care needs, Stephen started his own company serving Forth Worth and surrounding areas. After three years running a small business, the day-to-day management had pulled him away from his true passion, arboriculture. In 2021, Stephen closed his business and moved back to his hometown of Austin to join Bartlett Tree Experts as a Plant Health Care Specialist prior to becoming an Arborist Representative.
Stephen is an ISA Certified Arborist and a Texas licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator. He is also backed by the diagnostic resources of the Bartlett Research Laboratories. Stephen enjoys helping clients make informed decisions to maintain the health of trees and shrubs and achieve their goals for their properties.
In his free time, Stephen is an avid disc golfer, soccer player, and Austin FC fan. He enjoys spending time outdoors either camping or on the lake with friends and family.
