More about Spencer Scannell

Spencer was born and raised in the Pioneer Valley. He has always had a keen interest in the natural sciences and with the Boy Scouts he developed outdoor skills, his sense of adventure and a curiosity for ecology. Spencer worked in the outdoor sports industry while earning an associate degree in Environmental Science. Then he went to the University of Massachusetts where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Conservation, with a concentration in Urban Forestry/Arboriculture. Spencer joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2020 and held the position of Plant Health Care Specialist prior to Arborist Representative.

An ISA Certified Arborist, Spencer is also a Massachusetts Certified Arborist, and has Massachusetts commercial pesticide certification. He provides sound recommendations to help property owners care for their trees and shrubs and enjoys the sense of being a steward for the trees in his hometown area.

Spencer spends his free time skiing, biking, baking, and playing music with his wife and two children.
