Phil grew up in the Monrovia area of Frederick County. While studying Criminology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania he began his Arboricultural career working summers for his family’s small tree care business. In 2013, bringing the experience he’d gained, Phil joined Bartlett Tree Experts in our Gaithersburg, Maryland office. He started out as a Climber and Crew Leader. Phil has advanced within the Company and also held positions as Plant Heath Care Specialist and Local Office Safety Coordinator prior to transferring in 2022 to the role of Arborist Representative in the Frederick office.

An ISA Certified Arborist who also has TRAQ certification for tree risk assessment, Phil is dedicated to helping clients in southeastern Frederick and northwestern Montgomery counties make educated decisions about tree and shrub care to maintain the health and beauty of their properties.

Still happily residing in his beloved home county, Phil enjoys spending his free time with his wife and growing family.
