Nick comes with a wide range of arboriculture experience from utility vegetation management to residential clientele and has been working in the Chicagoland area for many years. With his strong background in the natural sciences he has successfully assessed, diagnosed, and recommended management plans for trees, shrubs, turf, and agronomic farms. At Bartlett, Nick utilizes the Chicago team's innovative environment to help clients with all aspects of their property, whether diagnosing and treating for diseases, prescribing site specific soil nutrient needs, mature or immature tree pruning, developing long-term management plans, or answering questions. Nick attended high school in the Hoosier hills of southern Indiana. He studied at Purdue University and received his B.S. in Plant Biology and minors in Soil Chemistry and Philosophy. Nick was a founder of the Purdue Organic Research Farm and his personal research was on inorganic vs. organic fungicide efficacy. Nick was on the NCAA Division I cross-country and track teams and ran the Chicago marathon placing in the top ten Americans. Nick resides in the Ukrainian Village area of Chicago where he grows plants, takes care of his dog and cat, and likes eating at new places.
