Matthew has always had a fascination with the biology of trees and shrubs and, from a young age, knew he wanted to pursue a career in this field. He began his path in arboriculture in Texas in 2010, dragging branches on a crew. He quickly transitioned to the role of climber. In 2017, Matthew joined Bartlett Tree Experts in the Washington D.C. area as a crew leader. Two years later, he transferred to the Salisbury, MD area. He moved into the role of Arborist Representative for the lower Delaware area in 2022.

Matthew is an ISA Certified Arborist, Maryland Tree Expert, Certified Tree Safety Professional, Licensed Maryland Pesticide Applicator, and has his Tree Risk Assessment Qualification. He enjoys helping clients make informed decisions regarding the health and safety of their trees and shrubs.

In his free time, Matthew likes to spend time with his wife and their two children at the local beaches.
